The Land o’ Burns Fiddle Weekend is a weekend-long retreat for fiddle lovers to come along to learn from some of the most accomplished and talented fiddlers in Scotland. Immerse yourself in the music and learn amongst other keen fiddle players.
You’ll receive at least 15 hours of fiddle tuition in intimate group workshops; lunch on each of the 3 days; tuition from all 4 fiddle tutors; tea/coffee/biscuits/water available everyday; a ticket into the very special and intimate Tutors’ Concert and access to the evening sessions that will occur every evening.
On the Saturday evening, there will be an intimate Tutors’ Concert that, as a Weekend Participant, you’ll gain special access. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public. So if you’ve friends and family that you’d like to bring along, they’ll be able to purchase tickets here, when they’re on sale.
Each night of Fiddle Weekend, we have evening sessions organised in various local bars. This is an opportunity to spend down-time with your new friends and the fiddle tutors, playing some of the tunes you’ve learned over the weekend as well as introducing some of your favourite traditional songs.
